Re: Sport EX "must learn first" ?
Hello Keith. Was reading your posts on Vansairforce regarding adding the Garmin 175 along with your autopilot and the GRT EX. How is this coming along? I am doing essentially the same thing, but not tearing into it until I have clear understanding of the wiring connections. Do you have your 175 up a...

GRT Sport EX Map question
Does anyone know why I am suddenly seeing these elongated "Xs"? Everything clears up upon power cycle. But comes back on next flight.

Re: Sport EX using Trutrak autopilot
A couple more ARNIC questions, if possible. As mentioned before I have installed a Sport EX and interfaced this to my Trutrak Vizion autopilot. This all seems to work great and is very enjoyable to fly. I have now installed the vertical autopilot software and purchased the ARINC module. First questi...

Re: Sport EX using Trutrak autopilot
Man, this stuff gets complicated as you add more and more! I currently fly an RV-6. I have installed a GRT-EX and TruTrak Vizion. This setup works great. I have now ordered the GRT vertical autopilot software and the AINRC module. Before I dive under that panel AGAIN, I want to be sure I understand ...

Sport EX using Trutrak autopilot
I have installed a Sport EX and interfaced this to my Trutrak Vizion autopilot. This all seems to work great and is very enjoyable to fly. I am considering purchase of the GRT ARINC module. My first question is, if I connect the ARNIC to the EFIS and to the autopilot, will the EFIS send vertical and...

Importing flight plans
Well, here I am again with another question. All my previous questions have been answered; thank you everyone and Jeff. I would now like to explore importing flight plans. This was apparently covered some years ago in the “ feature of the week” forum however I cannot find these old subjects. Is ther...

Fixes and Intersections
I've had my Sport EX installed for several months now, but I am still exploring all the features. One question I now have is that I cannot seem to get the map page to display fixes and intersections. I can select a fix in the flight plan page and navigate to it. But I do not see any fixes on the map...

Re: SAP Question
OK. Here is another SAP question: I am flying the Sport EX connected to a TruTrak Vizion autopilot, and I am trying to explore the capabilities. I do not have vertical guidance capability yet, however I am somewhat confused about the notes in the Sport Users Guide concerning capturing the synthetic ...
