Re: EGT oscilation
Hello Jeff I swapped EGT Leads from Cylinder 4 to Cylinder 2 and Cylinder 2 Leads to Cylinder 4 The oscilation stayed at Cylinder 4 although it was reading Cylinder 2. There have been no changes made to the position of leads and they do not run close or paralell to ignition leads. So I was thinking ...

EGT oscilation
I have egt sensors cylinder 3 and 4 oscilating about 5 to 8 degress centergrade in a short cycle. Would this be failing probes. the engine only has 140 hours. any suggestions appreciated.

Re: EGT / CHT Wire Leads
I have checked out my wiring spread sheet and it does say that the CHT wires are red and white and the EGT wires are red and yellow. The GRT EIS loom was long enough to reach the EGT and CHT sensor wiring they are joined with the red connectors So you think my system is wired correctly and should be...

Re: EGT / CHT Wire Leads
Jeff are you saying the thermo couple wire has to run all the way back to the D sub connector on the EIS. I was supplied with GRT EGT probes, S/S clamp style with a set of red connectors. I have used the red connectors between the thermo couple wires and the supplied GRT loom, that connection is for...

Re: EGT / CHT Wire Leads
I am experiencing high EGTs it is a camit 3300 engine. The camit supplied CHT sensors have their cold connection in the cabin while the GRT supplied EGT sensors have their cold connections in the engine compartment at a much higher temp. would this be causing some sort of calibration error. I note i...

What sort of drain on the battery would you expect.

Re: Connector A18
Found this old post. I do not have anything connected to A18. would this be why my flight log data output is dated 2002. My Clock has the right time but doesn't get the date. You can manually load the correct date but it seems to lose it after shut down. Trying to get the correct date on flight log....
