Thanks for the quick answer. Also thanks for the answer I wanted to hear! I was dreading getting into the plug at the 430W tray. It is close to the sub panel and no space at all.

Serial output splitting.
This is a somewhat generic question, but this seems to be the best place to post. My hangar is finally warm enough to work again, with spring getting here. I have a 430W that is current for ADS B out. I wired it to my 12" Hxr display with the proper ADSb+ format and it works fine, on the Hxr. I...

HXr Display "NAV' control boxes
Well I finally managed to get a 12.1" display and smaller Hx display installed. I have a TRIG 22 that is controlled by the HXr. I have a Pathfinder ADS feeding in as well. Everything seems to be talking to everything else. Weather display is almost the same as the 396 I removed. Looks great! A ...

Roll gyro?
Looking for a little knowledge here. Yesterday I was flying VMC at 10K with about a dead 5 knot headwind. 430W was feeding the GRT and the GRT was controlling the TruTrak RV 10 AP. Very stable and confirmed with Foreflight on an iPad. The heading displayed on the PFD screen was more or less constant...

Re: 430W Software update
No help on the main question, but the local Garmin shop told me it would be $84 for the upgrade from version 2 or so up to the latest version 5 and 5.1 I believe. Had it done today and haven't seen the bill yet.

Heading readout
I just found this forum and hope to contribute in the future. For now I have a perplexing problem, and am looking for help. I have a dual AHRS system with dual HX displays. Just recently I started getting different readouts for the heading based on the screen. Both HX's do the same thing. Today for ...

RV 10 and HXr
Hi to all! Newbe here. I have a flying RV10, IFR, dual HX system that works great. All was well til I got a ride in a Cirrus with the giant Garmin display. It was nice. My question has to do with whether or not the HXr will fit my 10 panel. To refresh, the 10 panel has a perimeter of screws and nutp...
