Re: Stratux ADS-B Reeceiver
Greg & Jeff, It was great to see Stratux working with a GRT EFIS on the serial connection Saturday. Do I just need a USB to RS232 converter cable like this http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en/cable-assemblies/smart-cables/1574108?k=usb%20serial%20converter and connect the two units together...

Re: Stratux ADS-B Reeceiver
Mark, That sounds great. Please contact me via email butcher43 at att.net with pricing and to help clarify options - see the questions below. I looked at the website you mentioned and note that it appears a AHRS version will be available. I would also like that as a backup attitude indicator on my i...

Re: Grt Hx and efii wideband oxygen sensor display
Caleb, In theory the Hx analog inputs can display a 0-12 volt signal. The documentation gives instruction on how to use these for trim indicators. Perhaps Jeff will answer how to configure them for your specific purpose. I can't find any documentation on how to configure them in general. Originally ...

Re: Stratux ADS-B Reeceiver
Absolutely, Mark! I have the GRT XM weather but would like an ADS-B solution that displays on my Sport HS (serial input).
Thanks

Re: Looking for help with GRT panel
Harry, In the documentation section of the website under Sport Manuals there is a Sport Transition Training Guide. There is a lot of good information in there. I haven't watched them, but there are several video tutorials by Jerry Morris that should also be helpful. Be aware that the software in all...

Re: Flight Recording
I use Decode from the GRT software page. Leave the txt file on your stick and let Decode make the XML file on the stick. Then use Excel to open the XML file with the style sheet to make the XLS file. It works fine and you can make graphs of data. Make graphs of different variables and then superimpo...

Re: Sport sx not showing engine info
On the first set up page (General Setup), is the counter for EIS changing? This will confirm that the data is getting to the EFIS.
If not, check the wiring between the EIS and EFIS and the baud rate (should be 9600).

Re: Long-Life EGT Probe - temps
The EGT probes are Type K. The CHT are Type J. See page 5b of the manual where it talks about extension wires.

Re: Recording engine data
Graham,
On the GRT Website, go to Support, Feature of the Week. There is a tutorial on using the DEMO to record data. Use the USB port on your display.
