A question of clarification ... Bob, Are you saying that you are seeing only .1 volt difference in the EFIS V1, V2,V3 and actual battery voltage???? I need to go back and check mine as I *think* that mine has always been a lot bigger difference. Not disputing. Just checking to verify. Thanks! James

Sounds normal to me.

The units have diodes (and probably other stuff) inside to make it possible for them to be feed from multiple power sources.

A .4 volt drop across a diode is not out of the ordinary.

Bob, I was thinking in terms of the 2020 mandate; i.e., ADSB in/out. If I get the GDL 88 I assume it will show up on the GTN 650 but I'd like the display linked to the GRT Hx like the current TIS traffic (GTX 330 -> GRT Hx). Hopefully GRT is working that issue with Garmin. Many of us wish(ed) that ...

If you use a HUB, it will apply to ONLY the unit to which it is connected.

DEVICES that consume power and extra ports are the reasons for the HUBS.

One 16 or 32GB memory stick can hold ALL of the data you will have and record everything you need.

The extension can be plugged into the hub.

Any chance the update changed the default baud rate on the 430?

If you look at Serial 7 IN on the HXr do you have a byte count?
