Re: More Serial Ports
I love (almost) everything about the mini. I am realizing though in my planning how limiting it is having only two serial ports. I don't know but I suspect that the dedicated trig transponder interface is really a pre-configured serial port. Isn't there any way to unwrap that and make it another se...

Re: Option to use CHT inputs for other readings.
Jeff, Do you know if there is any plan to change the software to accommodate us "Water Cooled" engine guys? I did ask, at OSH, don't recall if it was Todd or Greg, and he put it on his list of things to look into! Can you check on this? I am not Jeff, but ... Depending on what you are ask...

Re: Auto Pilot Auto Trim
This would be something I would pay for. New Mini efis AP user. Mine is installed on an RV8 and seems like it is always requesting trim. Of course I'm still in testing phase so hope it gets better I ordered a servo speed control for my trim to start. Kevin Ebsen I have talked to Greg about this. I ...

Re: Option to use CHT inputs for other readings.
Bob, Could you perhaps lead me through how to do this setup? In setting up the PFD display with the flight data on the top and the engine info on the bottom of the screen I am unable to eliminate the CHT graph. I must be looking in the wrong place or overlooking something in the setup. What EFIS mo...

Re: Stratux ADS-B Reeceiver
Jim, I have a prototype unit that's ready to hook up for testing. It works with a Stratux receiver right now, but SHOULD be configurable for any WiFi ADS-B receeiver that works with Foreflight, Wx Pro..... You should be able to connect the serial out cable pin to an open port, connect the ground, a...

Re: Backup battery for HXr PFD
To my knowledge, there is no backup battery for the HXr unless you install one.
I did and will be testing and posting results.
Only the MINI has internal backup battery as far as I know.

Bobturner wrote:I'm not sure there is a 'fuel used' function. But there should be a 'fuel remaining' one. Is your display configured to show this?
Yes, Bob, on the "scoreboard" of the HXr, there is a "USED" for the amount of fuel since startup on this flight.

Re: Demo Decoding
I have no problem uploading my Demo files to Savvy Analysis and seeing all the EIS data on their website, but I have been unable to open the files myself and access all the flight data. I am manually performing flight test profiles and recording, but it would be easier to just perform the test and ...

Re: ahrs and vibration
This may sound like a strange question, but ..... Are you sure the magnetometer is connected? And if so, where is it? Does the heading **seem** to be about right? Do you have multiple or a single power source to it? Is it mounted in a manner that is "consistent" in all three spatial "...

Re: Configuration Of Audio Alerts
OK. I now have audio alerts. NOW how do I suppress Traffic alerts when still on the ground? Making me nuts! Are these alerts from airliners at 35,000 feet? You can set a filter for example to only show traffic that is =/-3000 (or whatever) feet of your altitude. In that case if you are on the groun...
