Any progress on the certified GPS? Some of us have no panel space for the usual solutions.

Dual remote mount/auto power down?
Does anyone have their xgps170 mounted in a remote location? If so, does yours auto power down? The folks at Dual told me it would power down on its own once power was removed from the usb connector and it wasn't paired with anything via bluetooth. Just installed mine today and after 30 minutes of n...

Re: Low Voltage
I have found the same thing with my HX system. The voltage measured by any of the EFIS inputs is always .3-.4V lower than what the EIS reads. The EIS happens to agree with what my DVM shows at the fuse block, so that's the one I pay attention to.

% Power in Flight Data Recorder
If it wouldn't be too much trouble to add the % power reading to the Flight Data Recorder, it sure would save me a heap of work when conducting back to back testing.
Much Appreciated!

Re: Log Files
Hi Malcom, Are you talking about the DEMO log files (they have a .LOG file extension) or the new (introduced in Version 6) Flight Data Recorder files (which have a .CSV extension)? The only thing I've found for the DEMO files is to set the MAX Size option to it's highest setting (I think it's either...

Re: Long Boot up time in cold weather
I have had this same problem with one of my HX screens. The suggestion I got when calling about it was to try rebooting with the softkeys (far left and far right together). That didn't resolve it either. It seems it is definitely something that takes a little warming from electrons to jar it into op...

Re: Flight plan won't activate?
Still didn't work. Changes in the EFIS appear on the app but not vice versa. Phone shows up as a trusted device on efis.

Re: Flight plan won't activate?
Sooo..... Just an update. I attempted to activate a flight plan from my android app after the EFIS got a lock on it's location, and still nothing transferred to the EFIS flight plan. Any thoughts?

Flight plan won't activate?
So I was playing around with the remote app today. I was able to pair my phone to the display just fine. The PFD function seems to work just fine. The Flight Planning option did not though. I had created and saved a flight plan on the phone before heading out to the hangar. Once connected to the EFI...
