Howard,
On the GRT Website go to Support, Feature of the Week. There is a tutorial on the use of the Logbook. You have to use the EDIT function to log oil added.

Re: Demo Record Time
Bert,
On the GRT website, go to Support, Feature of the Week. There is a Demo Record tutorial there. You probably need to increase the file size. I typically record 30 minute Demo's that are about 15 Meg.

Re: O2 sensor
Your EIS can display pretty much anything. If the output of your O2 sensor is linear you can display it. Even if the output is not linear, if the area of interest is fairly linear, you can display that. The output needs to be no more than 5 volts, but you can always make a voltage divider if it is g...

Wind Vector Differences
Just posting this in case others run into this situation. On our trip to SNF we noticed that the wind vector displayed on our Sport HS PFD (S200 Sport) was often 15 to 20 degrees different than the Sport HS Map (S100 Sport). We were suspicious of version 8i software which we had just installed. We r...

Configure Bar Graphs on PFD
I just loaded software version 8i on my Sport HS EFIS. A new feature is "Make bar graphs in the bottom engine strip configurable" It appears the CHT and EGT graphs are not as wide as previously and the existing fuel qty, oil temp & oil press graphs are quite wide. I went thru the Gener...

Re: Sport Install, Rev E.
It appears that Rev E is updating the manual for the adaptive AHRS. If you look at the individual pages, the revision level of each page is indicated at the bottom of the page. As usual, try all the different manuals to find what you need. The software is very similar in all the GRT EFIS, so documen...

Re: EIS Tach fluctuation issues
Larry, Looks like your new alternator is a standard ND unit so connection to it won't generate a tach signal. You now have an unused lighting coil, which was previously used as the "alternator". So connect it as shown in the manual, bottom right corner of figure 7a, Spare Lighting Coil. Th...

Min Fuel Setting
I have Sport HS EFIS and EIS. My in tank fuel quantity sensors are Aux inputs on the EIS and vary between 0 and 100. In my EFIS the in tank fuel quantities are Aux 3 and Aux 4. I have fuel calibration tables enabled which convert the 0 to 100 from the EIS to 0 to 20 gal on the EFIS. I think the way ...

Re: Wind Vector
Jeff, Couple more questions concerning mag cal. Does the rate of turn make a difference and does the rate need to be constant? I'm on a grass strip that isn't too flat so when I do the circle, I have to add power to go uphill and reduce power to go downhill at different places in the circle. I do th...
