Re: Updated Display?
In the meantime, there is a nice trim panel that you can get to cover the original EIS. Matches the EFIS and looks terrific.

Re: Attitude info on Map Page
I think there is a selection on the map set up page. The GRT folks I am sure are not focused on this forum during Oshkosh.

Re: SAP for IFR operations
I am confused. Why use SAP for a GPS approach? Use the GPS (and the flight director). SAP is great in visual conditions, but it is not usable (in my humble opinion) in IMC conditions except in an emergency. It provides no terrain or obstacle clearance. By the way, I disagree with your CFII about aut...

Re: GPS Approaches/Missed Approach
Jeff:
Thought I understood this, but now not so sure. Why would the EFIS leave GNAV on a GPS approach? I understand the change to ENAV for an ILS because of the raw data from the nav receiver but why on a GPS approach?

Re: upgrading single screen
I upgraded dual WS screens to dual HX after Sun n Fun. Wonderful improvement. Much more robust processor, synthetic vision, engine instruments across the bottom of the screen, multitude of high speed connections and more. Highly recommend if you can. Had to cut the panel a little bit to accommodate ...

Re: NavWorx ADS-B Setup with Hx
Jeff: My Navworx is fed altitude from an HX serial port and the 327 transponder controls the squawk etc. What does selecting ADS600B on the EFIS to Navworx serial out do? I have always had the wire in place, but always in the off selection.
Thanks

Re: Synthetic Approach
I place myself on an intercept heading and arm the synthetic approach. Now that I have upgraded from WS to HX, hit the execute buttton as well. I turn on the flight director. MUCH easier than tracking those HITS boxes! My autopilot will also follow the synthetic as well, both laterally and verticall...

Re: TFR Info
Of all the info on FIS-B, displayed TFR's is the most desired feature to add to the ADS display. Would love to see it soon! Anytime I avoid contact with an armed F-16 is a good day.
