Re: HX Analog Input Sharing? What to wire to EFIS 2 as well
I only wired analog inputs to one DU, because I have nothing critical there. I can always look outside to see the flap position! If you choose to wire to both for redundancy, then you will also need to furnish an external bias resistor for a resistive sender. If you use the internal pull up resistor...

Re: ADS-B suppression question
I am no expert but I do not think you need to hook up the transponder suppression line. The Dual receiver (not transceiver - the T in UAT) operates on a different frequency than the Trig. If you meant how do you suppress yourself as a potential traffic aircraft, that is done by software in the GRT.

Re: 5D Add bar graph for Fuel Remaining from Fuel Flow
I think I mis-spoke. I think it's 25 knots ground speed but is not user adjustable.

Re: Attitude info on Map Page
User manual, page 3-7, shows how to display an attitude line on one of the map sub-pages, I think it is flight planning? I don't think it will display on the main map page, though. GRT?

Re: EIS serial out not working?
Just a guess, but if efis is just back you may need to reconfigure all the ports, e.g., whatever serial port is connected to the EIS is configured for it.

Re: SAP for IFR operations
SAP does not guarantee terrain clearance. Make sure you use the approved (gps, ils, etc) data for staying on course. The obvious answer to the autopilot question - and required by the instrument PTS - is that your cfii should have required you to show competance both with and without the autopilot. ...

Re: 5D Add bar graph for Fuel Remaining from Fuel Flow
They're different because the logbook only shows time, and fuel used, during 'flight'. Somewhere in the setup you defined 'flight', probably when gps ground speed was over 30 knots or something like that.

Re: Wiring Questions: OAT, Warning Lamp
Twisted pair is best. Attach the ground wire to your single point ground buss. It will probably work okay grounded locally in the wing, especially until some time passes and lap joints start having some resistance build up. Then it would be a nightmare to trouble shoot. I wired the warning light to ...

Re: No GPS data from serial 1
No suggestions because a lot more info is needed.
Go to the set up menu. What function is serial one dedicated to? Interdisplay link? Gps data?
Where is the GPS? Does the HX still see the GPS?
