Cabin Temperature

Post by Roger »

I would like to monitor cabin temperature on my HX display. I have a spare OAT sensor, can I set this up going into an analog input? If so, what are the settings? If not, what are your recommendations?

You can use a Carb or OAT-02/OAT-03 sensor on an analog input to measure temperature with an accuracy of 2 degrees over a limited range. This diagram shows how to wire it up and what scale factor and offset to use. The values are calibrated for the 4.8V excitation output from the EIS. The Aux input connection to the EIS can be swapped for the Analog Input on the HX.
