Will GRT be selling a IFR GPS or do we need to go to a 3rd party to get this capability? If GRT will be selling the IFR GPS, what is the manufacturer & model and when will it be available? Thanks. Brian Walker

In another post Katie replied that they are working on it but at this time there is no known completion date.

Give GRT a call and order one. It has a billet aluminum case using an Acord Technologies Nav Max card. I have one, but it will be a while before I have my plane finished and ready to fly.

Call me a 'doubting Thomas' but if GRT was selling a GPS that met the performance requirements of the TSO (145/146, I think) it would be all over their home page. I think this has proved to be a much larger project than GRT imagined. Some sources say Garmin spent $10 million on engineering labor to show TSO compliance.

Actually, the Nav Max card sounds promising. Doesn't it need to be mated with an approved database to be a useable solution?
