hall effect current and blue wire? resistor?

Post by N333M »

Just want to be clear, the Hall effect requires the blue 4.8 volt excitation wire. Does this wire need a resistor paralleled in the same manner as the fuel senders?
Or do you simply hook up the blue 4.8 v wire from the EIS to the blue wire from the hall effect sensor ring?
thanks

This sensor does not use a resistor. It is directly connected to the 4.8V wire.

The Hall Effect sensor blue wire (4.8V) input just gets connected directly to the EIS 4.8V Sensor Excitation Output (pin 25).
