Does our Hx EFIS have a timer function? If so how do you access this function.

Yes we have timers on the Hx EFIS but they are not resettable from they soft keys. Go to:
Set Menu
Engine Limits
First two items
#1: Flight duration (can't remember the exact wording but this setting (in minutes) can be used as a reminder to be looking for a place to land.
#2: Interval I set mine at 30 minutes to use as a reminder to switch fuel tanks. This one goes off every 30 minutes.
Again these are in minutes only. Of course they can be reset but that requires a journey to "Set Menu" vice a soft key mode.
