That kind of pin prevents two transmitters from transmitting at the same time. The receivers don't have a pin for this.

Did I miss one of the questions? The EFIS shows all the traffic it gets from all sources at the same time. That means if two sources have the same target, that target will be shown twice in close proximity. The software doesn't try to guess that they are the same. The EFIS only filters out ADS-B traffic that has your Mode S address, and any traffic that is beyond your altitude filter setting.
