One of the 'cool' new usability features on many radios is the display of the facility and type under the frequency display. So tuning 133.3 would show KMKC Tower under the frequency. Can this feature be added to the HXr remote radio display? I know you have it on Android application. Thanks... DWS ...

thanks .. got it figured out .. however sadly .. when zoomed beyond 35 miles .. the charts are unusable on the HX .. get fuzzy, I guess the scree resolution won't support that level of detail.

Ok .. upgraded HX's tonight to 6a .. downloaded charts to new 32 GIG Cruzer FIT USB sticks I just purchased for this use .. the Download manager says that they are up to date .. BUT when I put them in the HX no CHARTS option shows up .. unless I set it to ON and then when selected .. no charts show ...

Giving some thoughts to re-doing my HX panel with HXr's and eliminating the radio stacks. What is everyones opinions on the VAL COM and NAV radios? Quality? Performance Etc? Or maybe use the PSE's with a VAL NAV?
