I was flying the RNAV approach to KREG the other day and just before FAF, "GPS Configuration Loss" popped up on the top of the EFIS.
First time I have seen this.
If someone can explain would greatly appreciate. I turned off the AP, had the Flight Director up and was in VFR so I just went ahead and ...

Re: HXr-GTN650-TruTrak Help Needed
Thanks Bob, will try the GNAV and see what happens. Makes sense since EFIS only makes switch
when execute is hit.

HXr-GTN650-TruTrak Help Needed
I need some help figuring out how to use the 3 above.
I have figured out how to load approach in the 650, arm the autopilot and fly the RNAV approach.
What I can't get to work is when I load and activate a hold at the IAF.
The 650 suspends the approach when a hold is activated.

Re: Lean Program
Thanks Jeff but I asked the question ass backwards.
If I climb to say 6K and then lean to 50 LOP and then decide to climb to
say 7K. If I don't touch the mixture, as I climb the engine will go richer due
to the air getting thinner. The -50 of say #4 should start to go toward backwards
toward peak as ...

Lean Program
Getting around to learning how to use the Lean program.
So if I climb to 7K and start the lean function and lean to something LOP.
Now I decide to climb to 10K, when I get there do I need to turn off the program and
start again or just leave it running during the climb to 10K?
Thanks for any help ...

Dual AHRS's
I have the HXr and the HX with the two, single module, AHARs.
I was told, by someone at GRT don't remember who, to always use the dual AHRSs setting
for each screen. We were in a hurry and I didn't get a reason.
Can someone explain, sure would appreciate learning a little more.
Thanks
Bert

Re: Pitch Ladder Divisions
Are you talking about the little circle that shows
where nose is pointing? I am not using it.

Pitch Ladder Divisions
On the PFD my pitch ladder has 2 degree divisions only below the horizon line.
Above the horizon line, I have a 5 degree and a 10 degree.
Is there some way to put the 2 degree divisions above horizon line?
Working on instrument ticket, and would be nice to fine tune a steady climb rate.
Any help ...

Amp Draw
Jeff, if I could get just a bit more info.
What does the 10" HXr draw in amps when up and running?
What does the AHRS draw in amps when up and running?
Reason, I have the HXr and #1 AHRS on the backup battery buss.
With the new battery I am considering adding my second comm to the buss.
Thanks
Bert
