Update: A slope setting of 50 and an offset of 200 with the pullup resistor setting to off is close within a few tenths of an AFR point.

Some time later and different things about my project have re-ignited the desire to have AFR displayed directly on the EFIS. I have gotten close, but the numbers aren't spot on. Hoping someone knowledgeable about the GRT systems can help with some setup numbers. Here are my current settings for AUX4...

Is there a way to average out some sensor data? for instance my fuel flow and MAP (therefore %pwr, etc) always seem to be jumping around by .3 or .4

I should be able to tell you in the next few days as connect everything up. You mentioned possibly using a RS422 converter, or being able to get partial functionality? care to expand on this a little more?

I'm assembling my panel which consists of a GTX345, 430W, and a HXr. Is there any more word on getting the Garmin transponder to interface with the EFIS?

Having a bit of trouble getting my hxr to send obs selection back to my Garmin 480 gps. I have both serial to and from the garmin, as well as arinc429 to and from. Can't seem to make it work at all. Anybody done this successfully?

I currently have a 8.4" HX EFIS. Is the HXr the only unit capable of displaying an HSI at the bottom of the attitude indicator page? Is this mainly because of the size of the screen? I don't need the extra functionality of the HXr, But I would like to be able to use this type of view for flying...

Hello, I am building an Electronic fuel injected lycoming. I have placed my electronic fuel injectors in an unusual area, and would like to monitor their temperature directly. Wondering If you could recommend some stick on type sensors that would be compatible with my GRT HX? I remember some sensors...

I was able to set up an AUX analog input and even name it AFR on the HX engine display page. The wide band comes with documentation about what voltage = what AFR, so in theory it should work. Gauge comes next week, Ill post my findings here.

I'm in the process of upgrading from a WS efis to a HX+ grt autopilot. The efis is currently interfaced with a Garmin 480 via serial connection. I'm wondering specifically what added functionality I will gain by converting to an arinc 429 connection between the two.
