GRT Avionics

Val Avionics lists the GRT HX as being fully supportive of the remote mount Com and Nav 2KR's.

I can't really tell from the GRT documentation if this is true. I can see that it will support the COM and NAV 2000 via serial port using the SL30 format, but I am asking about the remote mount versions of these that would require full control through the EFIS.

This would be great. I am contemplating a HX 6.5 single display in my waiex very small panel, fitting the radios in the panel will be tricky.

The HX does not have full remote controls for a COM or NAV. The NAV would work like an SL30 (no volume control). The COM needs the full set of controls (frequency selection, swap, squelch, volume) that are only available on the HXr.
