So, what is the difference between the GPS option "AHRS-OPT-GPS" and the "new" "safe-gps"?
Price is the same, though specs are sparse both ways.
Difference between AHRS-OPT-GPS and safe-gps option?
Re: Difference between AHRS-OPT-GPS and safe-gps option?
I think the price list needs to be updated. The AHRS GPS option is some of the latest technology but it is not ADS-B 2020 complaint. It has the convenience of being in the same box as the AHRS and it shares the power connections. The Safe-Fly GPS is specifically made to be ADS-B 2020 compliant when used with compatible ADS-B Out equipment. It has a dedicated box with its own power connections. It has multiple outputs, and can be used to add serial ports to some GRT EFIS models.
