GRT Avionics

The antenna included with the 2020 seems to be an internal, not external unit. Can this be clarified? Is the expectation that the unit is installed internally? I have a strong preference for external mounting. In this case, any specific antenna models which would be appropriate? Perhaps the RAMI AV-801?

The antennas we usually provide can be exposed to the elements but I don't know how many customers have mounted them outside. I usually hear they are mounted inside.

The Safe-Fly GPS can supply 5V 100mA to the antenna. The RAMI AV-801 can use 5V and uses 60mA max so it should work.
