totalizer fuel used vs logbook fuel used (HXr)

Post by Clam »

Hi, I routinely have a discrepancy between the totalizer fuel used and the fuel used that appears in the logbook. The difference hasn't been anything greater than 0.2 gal, so really just an annoyance. Is there an explanation?

The logbook records the end of flight about 20 seconds after you land, but the stats display will keep counting until the fuel flow stops. The stats display keeps a running total from the flow rate while the logbook simply compares the takeoff and landing fuel amounts, so there could also be a rounding difference.
