ADSB-IN woes

Post by 1906 »

Is there a configuration to change the traffic representation on the map?
Currently it's shown as a diamond with a line going through with it and I've had the unit for a couple of years now and the direction still confuses me every time. I'd like the traffic to be shown as a simple arrow if possible.

Another thing I noticed the other day was that a future TFR was shown as a red circle, which, needless to say, has made me nervous being used to Foreflight. Is there an easy way to differentiate between a future and active TFR?

No, currently the EFIS only knows how to display the traffic as a diamond with a line. This is based on how older systems would display traffic before ADS-B. There are recommendations for displaying ADS-B traffic with different shapes (including arrows) for the type of traffic but we haven't worked on that yet.

The EFIS doesn't currently look at the TFR times. It displays every TFR it receives the same way for future, current, or expired (expired but not cancelled).
