Does anyone know if the WiFi connection to the GRT Discovery receiver is TCP or UDP?

UDP. When a WiFi client requests a DHCP address it starts sending GDL90 format data to UDP port 4000.

Given that I have the Discovery ADS-B Wi-Fi Connection,

Might it be possible, since my iPad is speaking with this device,

To ADD the ability RECEIVE my flight plan that is in FOREFLIGHT on my GRT EFIS???????

Future capability is possible. There are no published interfaces for flight plan transfer with ForeFlight so we haven't added anything yet. They have told us that they have to work with every company to make a custom flight plan interface, and that means they also have to decide if they even want to work with us. That is something we will look into when we get more direct WiFi capability for our systems. If they won't work with us directly, there is a company that makes a device that we may be able to use.

Any update on progress for Foreflight to GRT
