Can an Android or iPad get GPS data from the USB port (or bluetooth)?

On Android, the primary GPS has to be built-in, but an app can connect to an alternate Bluetooth GPS if it knows how. That means if you have some random app you want to use and some random Bluetooth GPS, it won't just work. If you enable Developer Mode there are some apps that will present Bluetooth GPS data as a "mock location", which will work with any app that allows mock location data. I think the iPad is the same.

The question should have been more specific. I meant the USB (or Bluetooth) on the HXr.

The Bluetooth link in our app includes GPS data, but it only works with our app. Other apps will not see the GPS data.
