JPI FXT-201 fuel flow in parallel

I am using a JPI Fuel Flow Instrument with FXT-201 Transducer. Integrating the 10.1 in my panel, I released the fuel flow option on my panel EIS and connected the sensor wire from the JPI unit to EIS in parallel. EIS connected via serial out to 10.1 showing EGT etc.
THE JPI is still running - the EIS and the 10.1 is not showing up any FF data. I can re-invent the wheel (dig in myself) or simple ask for support what I am missing.

Running a sensor in parallel with a different instrument can work but it's an unusual setup that the system wasn't designed for. First make sure the FC1 and FC2 are entered properly, and then check the FloCal setting. FloCal should be set to 170 to start with for a FloScan-like sensor. If FloCal was zero then the reading would always show zero.
It is possible to test that the fuel flow input is working by connecting a wire to the EIS fuel flow input pin (pin 14 on the 4000 connector A) and rapidly tapping the other end to ground. When not grounded and not connected to a sensor, this wire will have around 5V on it.
The EIS is expecting to see about 5V pulses. Higher or a little lower should be OK. The instruments provide the higher pulse voltage and we don't know what voltage the JPI instrument provides.
