Be sure to notice the ALARMS soft key in the latest software release. When you push this it takes you to a submenu where you can chose to disable all the ALARMS except for FUEL and OIL pressure. This is great for those of us that fly ACRO, but for just being in the pattern or sightseeing VFR it will do away with the OBSTACLE, TERRAIN, etc, that you just don't want every time you trigger one of those alarms.

You can easily toggle this on or off and the next time you power up it will be back on ALL.

Try it and I think you'll like it.

I have not seen this ALARMS soft key with the 2b software. Where should I be looking for it?

David, evidently I spoke to soon. I thought it was already released. I'm running a Beta version. Hopefully it will be in the next release.
