Can you give us a status of the audio output?

The audio output on the EFIS systems is something that has been on the docet for a long time, but because it is a low wpriority item it gets push to the bottom of the list all the time. we intend to make the audio output a full 16 bit mono output. But there is currently no timetable for writing the software to run the audio. it is on the list just down at the bottom.

Well Ill tell you what. What we could really use right now is strickly a warning tone. You dont have to deal with all the various audio warnings of traffic, low voltage atc. But simply a mono tone that comes on with the idiot light, and is acked with the acking light process. We really need this please.

For my (non aerobatic) flying the flashing red light is fine. If I were to ask for one but only one warning tone, I'd ask that it be tied to the AOA calculation.
