It would be great if there was a table of hardware-software version/rev vs feature support. I recently tried to hook up a second RPM sensor only to discover that the second input was non-functional in my hardware. Had to send the unit back for rework/update. The only way to know that it didn't have support for the latest sensor diagram was to call someone who knew the internals. They said something like "well, of course that won't work as your hardware version doesn't support it". Fixed, but not without frustration.

I think that's a good idea. It would be a very long and complex spreadsheet, as these EIS units have been around for 22 years. There are dozens of setups! I'll put that on my EIS documentation wish/to-do list.

I was stumped on what to do with the Hall Effect Current Sensor and easily located the instructions to install it.
