i have wired a garmin 327 transponder to my mini. is there something in settings i need to set as the 327 altitude window lights up but doesn't display an altitude.

i don't have a magnetometer.

when i engage the a/p it holds heading and altitude. does it hold heading or track?

in the initial display unit calibration of sec 4 programming and calibration of grt a/p set up and testing i have gotten as far as ''lateral autopilot functions.this and vertical function i do not see on the ''general setup'' page. what should i do?

it's been a few years since i installed it and i remember servo motors working but i don't remember if i did the complete set up. i guess i will start with that.

i have never used an ap before. i have the grt servos with my mini. i thought the short answer to turning on the autopilot system was to switch the servos on and push the engage button to hold altitude and heading while in flight. apparently there is more to it than that as nothing happened. i am ...

i have a mini x that is about 3 yrs old. anyone know if the factory issue antenna had ''gilsson'' printed on it or was it blank on the top ?
asking this question is the easiest way for me to sort out my antennas under the cowl.
