The EXECUTE key was added as suggested by people flying IFR approaches so they could set up the approach before final and only have to push one button to allow the final approach capture.
When one of the approach modes is armed, the EFIS will not change modes and capture the indicators until ...

Re: SafeFly Gps
In our experience the Safe-Fly will usually find a GPS position in less than a minute if it has enough of a view of the sky, and that includes reception through our office roof. The best place to check reception is in SET MENU, Display Unit Maintenance, GPS Status (highlight the line and push the ...

Re: CO Guardian 353P connection to HXr and Audio
No. Look at the buttons on the front of the GMA345 audio panel. There is a button labelled "AUX2" that acts as a toggle switch that controls whether or not you hear anything from AUX2. You can push that to toggle any audio coming from AUX2. If AUX2 is not selected/enabled by that button you will not ...

Re: Discovery indicates no ADS-B Towers - Reboot fixes it
It looks like the UAT radio was active but the log says it received nothing until the unit was rebooted. Did you do a power cycle to reboot or use a reboot command through the web interface? Maybe we need to swap out the UAT radio.

Re: CO Guardian 353P connection to HXr and Audio
I mean they are switched inputs controlled by a button on the panel so you have to make sure the input is turned on with the button, and some of those inputs may be temporarily muted by other audio. Looks like pins 7 and 8 should work for Aux2.

Re: CO Guardian 353P connection to HXr and Audio
Typically only one display is wired to the audio system. Most data is shared between displays so they will produce their own audio for the same issues. If you wired both you would get the same alarms played on both screens at about the same time. The displays don't share audio signals or files and ...

Re: remote app for android
We've made some progress but the update is not fully working yet. There are a ton of things to work on right now so we haven't set a date for this. There have been more requests lately so we are trying to make time to work on it.

Re: Discovery indicates no ADS-B Towers - Reboot fixes it
ADS-B data can only be recorded on the display with the serial or USB connection to the receiver. I don't see any ADS-B inputs in the DEMO files so it appears this is not the display that is wired to the receiver.
The Stratux log file appears to show UAT reception while the log was running. I don't ...

Re: EIS serial output
1. I notice that the EIS has a "Serial In" line on Connector A. This is not hooked up in my aircraft, but I wonder if it is used for anything?
On an EIS with its own display and buttons, the Serial In is only rarely used for updating software (on units with that hardware capability), so it is ...

Re: EIS serial output
It doesn't attach correctly here but I can put it in a code block. It's just a plain text file.
EIS 4000/6000/9000 serial data format
Model 4000/6000 Serial Data List
All data is transmitted at 9600 baud, one stop bit, no parity. The first 3 bytes are a header
